This is astonishing on so many levels. Why haven't I heard of him? Has anybody else? Great find, Tissie.

Jesus was fond of Baptists and water. But it looks like he's about to get a pretty bad press from now on. The Express of all papers has blown the lid on his activities.

SHOCK CLAIM: The story of JESUS was 'copied from prior religions to CONTROL the people'
THE story of Jesus Christ is a HOAX that was an almost carbon copy of other ancient Gods which was reestablished to control the population, several Biblical scholars have controversially claimed.

Jesus was a plagiarist and conman.

First off he copied Dionysus who was born of a God and a woman, could turn water into wine and whose sign was the ram. He was also crucified before rising from the dead after three days.

The script doesn't really vary from that. Rather like Hollywood remakes.

Next witness is Mithras, born on 25th of December to a Virgin. He carries a lamb on his shoulders and he had a sacred rock Petra.

After that step in Osiris and Horus. Although the last one in the list was the emperor Titus Flavius.

Biblical scholar Joseph Atwill wrote on his website: "Christianity may be considered a religion, but it was actually developed and used as a system of mind control to produce slaves that believed God decreed their slavery.”

The scholar argues that at the time, Jewish sects in Palestine were awaiting a ‘warrior Messiah’, which became an increasing problem after the Roman Empire failed to deal with the problem with traditional means.

As a result, the rulers resorted to psychological warfare which would appear to give the citizens what they wanted, while at the same time making sure they followed their rule

Mr Atwill: ”What seems to have eluded many scholars is that the sequence of events and locations of Jesus ministry are more or less the same as the sequence of events and locations of the military campaign of [Emperor] Titus Flavius as described by Josephus.

"This is clear evidence of a deliberately constructed pattern.

"The biography of Jesus is actually constructed, tip to stern, on prior stories, but especially on the biography of a Roman Caesar." ... ople-roman

Whatever next? Stonehenge had nothing to do with druids in white dresses and whiskers?

Cui bono is always a good guide. Undergoing capital punishment, for instance, would not be very cui bono-ing, would it?

When I worked at a butchers we did a lot of boning but the boss got all the cui bono bits.

I suppose the animals went through capital punishment. But then they would no doubt reincarnate at a higher level.
