:-)

You take the basic structure and re-write: Usually needs changing the layout of pictures so that they are just single placed centre (the next step is html conversion for multiple platforms). I think notes are best done using hyperlink (and then by hyperlinking back to a bookmark in the text) but there's a lot of different opinions. After that, it's a conversion to html, compose and add the structural documents (TOCs and so on), conversion to mobi and you're there.

If none of the above makes any sense, then there's companies that do the job. Most of them don't do a very good job though.

I'm completely out of tin, copper and bronze sheets, and my wife might notice if I melted down all her silver and gold. So glass mirrors it will have to be.
What do you use to weather-proof the mirrors?

From memory (this was 5 years ago) it was just ordinary black spray enamel paint. Probably bought from Wilkinsons or somewhere like that.

Hi Boreades

I've started to prepare a few posts showing how to make the mirrors. This is the first and the rest will link into it when I get a bit more time.

There's a weird coincidence (when it's all done) with the Bush barrow Lozenge. Described it in some detail in the novel, but not in Solving:

Hi Mick

I may have got that wrong: It seems that most sales are in paperback in the USA rather than Kindle. Looks as if Stonehenge: Solving the Neolithic Universe is now the #1 selling non-fiction book about Stonehenge in the USA:

Cheers!

Hi Boreades

I've put together a post on how to make the mirrors (using IKEA)

This is a compilation of photos from about five years ago with a few explanations. Eg:

All the best

I've found the mirrors - £1.50 each at the moment.

Aaarr. That'd be why the stones dance, Jon lad.

Dans in Cornish is claimed by some to be dawn as they can't speak proper down there. Pipers play at dawn to salute the sunrise or whatever, not to mention Morris dancers and the 'obby 'oss, a nice image anyway.

P.S. My son emailed that some chap is on television tonight saying he knows the truth behind Stonehenge. It could be worth watching to get the blood boiling and cut down on heating bills.

"Secrets of the Stonehenge Skeletons", C4, 20:00 today.

I'm hoping it will be better than
"Here be skeletons. That proves they buried people here. That proves Stonehenge was a big cemetry" - like a Cathedral is?
or
"Lots of abnormal skeletons here. That proves it was a medical/healing centre" - with a high failure rate?

Thanks! I wonder if Jon will be featuring in the programme. A Sunday evening slot is prime time so they must be reckoning on a wide audience.
