As soon as my Finance Director (Mrs Boreades) gives permission, we'll be off to IKEA to get a trolley-load. Thanks for the page on how to frame them!

No worries Boreades. As soon as I get time, I'll write up the rest of the 'howtos' as a mini-series, For the moment, I've put the first two into the 'methods' index on the web-page below:

Section 2: Make your own Grail:

Boreades: Update on making the Geocentric Demonstrator

Might be a while before I can do much more on the project, so thought I'd summarise where we are.

On behalf of your neighbours I wish to protest in the strongest possible terms.

I've got parishioners like you, join the queue. They are probably also complaining that Noah didn't have planning permission, something has changed somewhere, and the weather is getting colder/hotter/wetter/drier/worse than last week/worse than last year/worse than before they were born. Etc ad nauseum.

I'm sure Jon's let his neighbours know what he's doing. Just in case any of them mistake that strange glow for (say) a nuclear fusion experiment, and he gets a surprise visit at 3 a.m. from the Civil Nuclear Constabulary.

Thud, thud, bang. Excuse me sir, have you got a licence for that?

I've just had an e-mail from the neighbours. "We are the Civil Nuclear Constabulary."

:-)
Luckily I have a north-ish facing garden. It's only from the North East that you get the dazzle.

Just (this morning) been given the go-ahead to do the tests on public land. But the slot is next week! If anyone's near Eastbourne and wants to see it running, let me know?

Best of luck with it, Jon. I can't come but will keep an eye out for UFO reports in the Eastbourne Herald.
